Unlocking the Stroke Mastery Badge on Your Athlete Profile

Think of the Stroke Mastery Badge like levelling up in a video game—your performance in the pool determines your rank, and as you improve, you unlock cooler, more advanced badges.

What is the Stroke Mastery Badge?

The Stroke Mastery Badge lets you track your swimming skills by comparing your performance with other TritonWear swimmers of the same gender. The better you swim, the higher you rank.  This badge is an awesome way to see your progress and stay motivated to improve in each stroke.

You’ll find the badge in the Strokes section of your profile:

  1. Select the pool type and stroke you want to review.
  2. Tap on your badge, and a small module will pop up, congratulating you for unlocking your new rank.

The more you swim, the better your badge gets—visually and in rank—so you can track your journey at a glance. Your badge isn’t just a pretty icon—it’s proof of the grind and all the effort you’ve put into your training.

The Stroke Mastery Ranks: From Rookie to Titan

Here’s where it gets fun—the Stroke Mastery Badge is like a game inside your swim training. There are 10 ranks to unlock—each with 10 levels. As you train through the ranks, the badge keeps getting more detailed, reflecting the effort and time you’ve invested.

Your badge indicates your skill level for each stroke, ranked from Rookie to Titan. This ranking is based on your Everyone Stroke Score, which compares your stroke performance to the average performance of all TritonWear swimmers of the same gender. The better your stroke compares against others, the higher your rank will be.

What Do The Scores Mean?

In video games, a “balanced” character might have mid-level stats across the board—the same idea here. A "typical" TritonWear swimmer will score around 75, which places them in the Hero rank. But just like some players prefer to focus on specific skills, swimmers’ scores reflect their experience and areas of focus:

  • Newer or younger swimmers might start off as Rookies or Risers, working their way up.
  • Seasoned swimmers, like varsity athletes, will often have scores north of 75, living in Victor, Champ, or Legend.

This ranking system isn't just about competing with others—it’s about tracking your own journey and seeing steady improvement, just like levelling up your character in a role-playing game (RPG).

How is the Level Badge Different from the Stroke Mastery Badge?

The Level Badge, located at the top of your profile, summarizes your performance across all strokes with a score between 25 and 125. The Stroke Mastery Badge evaluates your proficiency in individual strokes, measuring from 25 to 125 and is related to your spider graph. While the Level Badge provides an overview of your swimming progress, the Stroke Mastery Badge offers detailed insights into your strengths in each stroke.

The Badge is Your XP Tracker

The path to Titan rank won’t happen overnight—just like hitting max level in a game takes time and effort. But that’s the fun part. Focus on building good habits, refining your technique, and trying new strokes to unlock new levels over time. Every small improvement gets you closer to the top.

The Stroke Mastery Badge is like your personal XP bar. Every swim adds to your experience, helping you level up and unlock new ranks. Whether you’re just starting or aiming to become a Titan, the badge reminds you of your hard work and progress.

So, keep grinding. Keep switching up strokes and pushing yourself in different pool settings. Every swim gets you closer to that next rank—and every rank-up brings you closer to being the ultimate swimmer. Game on! 🏊🎮
