After workouts you will be asked to enter a Workout Rating that helps us measure how difficult the workout felt to you.
For the Readiness Score to monitor your workout load most accurately, the self-reporting of Workout Rating is essential. Including Workout Rating in Readiness provides a more comprehensive view of an athlete's overall well-being. It adds the qualitative factor of how did it feel to combine with the quantitative Volume and Itensity TritonWear captures. Without a workout rating, a true load monitoring tool such as Readiness will be considerably less accurate.
Workout Ratings should be entered for every workout, but missing one here or there is not the end of the world. The challenge comes in when less than 75% of your workouts in a 28 day period have ratings. If this is the case, Readiness will calculate your load solely on distances swam. Distance only is a considerably less accurate way to calculate load, which can result in misguidance on over or under-training status. Click here to learn more about how Readiness is calculated.
By default Workout Ratings are disabled, until you get used to using TritonWear. Once wearing it is a habit, head over to your setting - preferences (tap the icon) and set Rate Workouts to Always.
